Product Descriptions on Labels
Euroscent needed a brand makeover. Old packaging design of their eau de parfums and eau de toilettes for men and women were being revamped into something elegant and stylish.
To match its new look, Euroscent wanted 25- to 30-word descriptions of each unique scent on the bottle labels.
I wanted the descriptions to be both functional and evocative of the experience each scent brings. Product copy should bring to life the experience you'll get when you use that product as well as the functional benefits it gives. Thus, the descriptions were based on personal knowledge (using test vials of the scents) and notes used in the scent (provided by the client) combined with user descriptions of the inspirations used for the perfumes.
